Keith Biskobing

Senior Living

“Being an architect means contributing to society by creating spaces that beautify and add value to the environment and improve how people interact and live”

In 1994, Keith began his career in architecture as an intern at Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP. Keith continued with PRA after graduating college, and now has over 20 years of experience working with the Senior Living Studio. Currently, he is an Associate and Project Executive that oversees meetings with clients, develops project schedules, and coordinates drawings to make sure the design aligns with the client’s wants and needs and is within their budget.

Keith explained architecture as having two sides. On one side are the technical aspects of designing buildings to ensure their functionality, and on the other side are the creative aspects that help beautify and enhance the environment. He appreciates the balance of both, and he thoroughly enjoys the ability to be creative and design innovative spaces that enrich the lives of people. This includes developing ideas to meet the diverse needs and requirements of each client.  He draws his inspiration from the happiness he sees on the seniors’ and veterans’ faces when they experience a new beautiful home. He takes his responsibilities seriously since his designs will have a large impact on his clients as they will interact and utilize the space daily. In addition, Keith says his team members motivate him to provide the best services he can with their energy, open communication, and fresh ideas.

Architecture and design are also incorporated in Keith’s weekend hobbies. He is a big fan of home improvement projects and recently renovated his basement and added a sunroom. Keith is also a member of the Port Washington Main Street Program, where he develops design ideas to help improve Port Washington’s Downtown.
